Launching Fawcett Society & Virgin Media O2's ‘Women in Tech’ report

As part Virgin Media O2’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy ‘All In’, the company has committed to achieving gender parity and increasing representation of employees from global majority groups by 2027.

We supported the business in its partnership with Fawcett Society, a leading charity campaigning for gender equality and women's rights in the UK, to deliver the ‘System Update: Addressing the Gender Gap in Tech Report’, a report exploring the views and experiences of women and men when it comes to the barriers and disincentives around working in the tech industry.

As a result we:

  • Reinforced Virgin Media O2’s commitment to achieving gender parity and increasing representation of employees from global majority groups as outlined in its All In Strategy, the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy 

  • Secured a CQI (Competitor Quality Index) score of 1.65, ranking in the top 10 coverage drivers for the business in October 2023  

  • Secured coverage in top-tier national, business and trade outlets including The Times, The Register, City AM, TechRadar Pro and HR Review, reaching more than 17M readers with our key messaging around the importance of accelerating gender diversity in the tech industry
