Social strategy for Ohpen boosts performance by 129%

The Brief 

Ohpen, the Netherlands-based SaaS core banking platform for financial institutions that want to serve customers better​, needed to build brand awareness and trust among key target audiences across the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, and the US.

Ohpen recognised that its digital channels, particularly LinkedIn, were underutilised and not effectively reaching its high-value audiences. The leadership team approached Missive to transform its social media presence from an inactive communication channel into a strategic business asset that could engage prospects and employees, support business growth, and strengthen market positioning. 

The Activity 

To kickstart the activity, we conducted an in-depth analysis of Ohpen’s corporate LinkedIn presence and key leadership profiles to identify gaps and opportunities. The audit included competitor benchmarking, visual and messaging consistency and leadership profile optimisation.

Based on the findings we developed and executed a content strategy balancing thought leadership, product insight and company culture; an executive social strategy; a paid campaign strategy; and a performance framework to track KPIs and optimise ongoing efforts.

Throughout the programme, we revitalised Ohpen’s digital present through:

  • Regular creation of high-quality content for the corporate LinkedIn channel
  • Development of executive-specific content for leadership team members including Ohpen’s CEO and UK Managing Director.
  • Full management of a targeted paid campaign focused on UK-based mortgage lenders.
  • Ongoing optimisation based on performance analytics.

Our strategic approach transformed Ohpen’s digital presence, delivering measurable results across all key metrics. Across its corporate LinkedIn, we saw a:

  • 40% increase in overall impressions
  • 28% increase in engagement rate
