We're delighted to have been appointed by Innovate Oxfordshire to support the next phase of its strategic communications programme.
The appointment marks the latest step in our continued expansion across the innovation and economic growth sector. As governments, investors and regional organisations increasingly look to innovation to drive investment and long-term prosperity, we're supporting organisations shaping that agenda build visibility, influence and impact through strategic communications.
Innovate Oxfordshire joins a growing portfolio of organisations focused on innovation-led growth and economic development. We have previously supported Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership on strategic communications and currently work with Global Cornish to raise the profile of Cornwall’s innovation ecosystem. This sits alongside our wider client portfolio of technology companies, scale-ups and organisations driving innovation across the UK.
Innovate Oxfordshire, part of Oxfordshire County Council, is a strategic innovation partner for the public sector, helping local authorities and national bodies move from innovation ideas to real-world delivery. Its work is rooted in applied innovation for the public sector, by the public sector, combining deep public sector experience with specialist innovation expertise and relationships across academia and industry.
We will support Innovate Oxfordshire in sharpening its messaging, brand positioning and digital presence as the organisation looks to build sustained visibility among public sector decision-makers. Our programme will help articulate Innovate Oxfordshire’s role in helping organisations define, deliver and demonstrate innovation, from shaping clear briefs and de-risking delivery to proving what works through evidence-led monitoring and evaluation.
Erin Lovett, Associate Director, Missive, says: “Public sector innovation is too often talked about in abstract terms; Innovate Oxfordshire makes it practical and measurable. The service brings together public sector insight, academic expertise and industry collaboration to help organisations move from complex challenges to evidence-based change. Missive’s role is to sharpen that story and ensure it resonates with a wide range of stakeholders, as well as build greater recognition for the impact applied innovation can have on communities and public services.”
Laura Peacock, Head of Innovate Oxfordshire, adds: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with Missive at such a pivotal moment for our organisation. The team bring a strong understanding of innovation-led organisations and translating complex work into powerful narratives. Their counsel will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen Innovate Oxfordshire’s positioning and help more public sector organisations de-risk innovation and deliver change that works in practice.”
