We’re proud to be leading the PR & Communications programme for a new pioneering inclusion initiative, Project Nemo, which is urging the fintech industry to better serve the UK’s largest minority and accelerate disability inclusion.
We will be combining our DE&I Consulting capability with our deep fintech sector expertise and network to support the 12-month initiative. Our aim is to help Project Nemo connect disability inclusion experts with fintech decision makers who want to accelerate their disability inclusion journey.
Launched by disability inclusion champion and fintech industry leader, Joanne Dewar, Project Nemo is focused on providing a wakeup call and step change in disability inclusion across the fintech industry.
“The combination of Missive’s heritage and network in fintech, along with the team’s expertise and passion around inclusivity made partnering an easy decision,” Joanne Dewar, Project Nemo lead said. “With more than 1 in 5 people living with a disability in the UK, we need to ensure that our workplaces, our products and our services fully consider accessibility.”
“Fintech thinks of itself as the future of financial services and it holds immense power to show the way on what an inclusive and accessible world can be like”

“We’re so proud to support such an important campaign as Project Nemo,” added Nicola Koronka, Co-Founder and Chief Client Officer. “As part of our ESG charter at Missive we commit to regularly supporting pro-bono clients, and with almost a third of our team with a disclosed disability or health condition, this is a cause close to our hearts. DE&I Consulting is a growing practice area for Missive and we can’t wait to make a real impact with this initiative in fintech, kickstarting conversations, convening allies and connecting experts through our communications work.”
