Prolific, the UK-headquartered ethical research and AI-training specialist, has selected Missive to deliver a global integrated communications campaign following a successful project.
After securing widespread international and trade media for Prolific’s Series A fundraise announcement in July, the Oxford-based business hired Missive on a retained basis to continue raising its profile among academics, businesses, consumers and potential investors. Prolific uses its network of 120,000 participants to test new products, conduct academic research, train artificial intelligence (AI) systems, and determine whether human-facing AI applications are working as developers intended them to.
With ethical, non-biased AI such a prominent topic across the technology sector, Prolific has quickly acquired several high-profile customers, including Meta, Google, Stanford University, the University of Oxford, King’s College London and the European Commission.
Jane Hillman, Head of Marketing at Prolific said: “We’ve seen incredible traction with Prolific over recent months, and the opportunity in front of us is huge. With so much hype and discussion around AI, cutting through the noise requires support from an agency with prestige in the sector. We were so impressed with Missive’s counsel and execution that it was a simple and quick decision to hire them on a retained basis.”
Gemma Dunn, Director at Missive, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Prolific to our growing portfolio. AI has really gripped everyone’s attention in 2023 and it feels like a crowded conversation, but with our creativity, media relations and digital expertise we know we're the best partner for Prolific to reach the next phase of growth.”
